Welcome Back Ronnie!

The Deseret News is reporting that the Jazz have resigned Ronnie Price for an undisclosed amount, at what is expected to be a one-year deal. I, for one, am happy with this signing because I think Ronnie is tough as nails . . . now if he only had a jumper.

A necessary move. No matter how good Maynor is he's not going to see much time next year.

Booner, how could you withstand the temptation of titling this post with "The Price is Right"?

I like Ronnie. But I think the Jazz, who obviously have a religious devotion to the 3 point guard rule, should get a combo guard as one of those point guards. Hinrich would be my first choice, of course, but those talks appear to be dead.

I would normally agree with that, but we're in an odd situation next year. Maynor will probably be the future but he's not going to be ready yet. Thus we need an actual backup, and Price is a lot better than Knight.

So, I do not really believe it will have effect.
